How to treat dry and rough feet

From the morning start up to the dusk, our feet roll at various places for many works. They share the tiredness and work load, to relax them and to give a proper care for the cracked heels here are the solutions. Go in the deep and find the results.


  1. Get the hot water and soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes. It helps to remove the dead skin that has been attached to the skin. Hot water is not suggested for the diabetics and to any one who is having impaired feet circulation.
  2. Exfoliate the feet it works perfect in backing off the dead skin. Use pumice stone or a wash cloth and even loofah. Rub with pumice stone gently for few minutes.
  3. While you shop prefer to get the pair of shoes that are at good fit, never run over the tights thought they are interesting and captivating. If not you wear comfortable, feet will increase the secretion of sweat in comparison to the normal rate.
  4. Never soak your feet for more than 15 minutes it makes the skin dry. Mix the half cup of white vinegar and sufficient amount of warm water. Dab it over the feet up to the ankles. After application exfoliate it and dry completely, moisturize and wear cotton socks.
  5. Moisturizer Give a moisture touch to your feet every day. After the shower or going to bed, apply the moisturizing cream or some body lotions evenly. If are not quite ok that ask your pharmacist to give ‘over the counter body lotion’ which contains urea. Indeed urea exist in the cells of the skin but in dry skin, the levels are low. To lock the moisturizer in the dry skin urea contained moisturizng cream works great.  While you are applying the lotion restrict it between the toes and retain cotton socks.
  6. Any time you wash your feet, just dry them. Never leave them like the way they are it leads to fungal infections. Since viral, fungal and bacterial agents tend to ripe in moist and warm places.
  7. Smell off Try sprays and good smelling anti-odors to your daily shoes in case they are smelling. Its better to switch from one pair to the another to keep the used dry. If you use the same pair in daily it will prompts for smell and even fungal infections.
  8. Try to wear the socks which out from cotton, wools and bamboo. You can even try using the socks that are made specially for athletes. Wearing a sock will ensure to absorb the sweat formed in the feet, so that the feet will breath up. Always wear a fresh pair and wash them regularly other wise it leads to infections.
  9. Before you are going to hit the bed, try the following massage. Mix the olive oil with little amount of vinegar and apply over the feet with concentration on the heels. Use honey if you want to add up, it works for the moisturizing the dry skin. Wear socks and leave  it for the whole night and rinse off in the morning.
